I’ve worked as an imagemaker since the 1980s enjoying projects mainly in publishing.

 

I use Painter to replicate watercolour and pastel artwork, and then Photoshop, to give greater depth, richness and special effects.

This means I can provide an illustration with a traditional feel but work quickly and with great flexibility.

I love working with a narrative, especially illustrating jackets and novels. My favourite subject areas are classics, mythology, fantasy and horror

... in fact anything that involves figures in an atmospheric setting!
